Students following the standard curriculum require 10 credits in either a language or fine/visual arts. Our Educational Vision 1. Teachers apply, stay current, and are familiar with various learning theories. 2. Teachers set high academic standards for the students. 3. Students have open lines of communication with peers and teachers and feel respected, accepted, and supported in a comfortable living environment. 4. Students become self-directed and responsible for learning. Teachers act as guides in the process of academic growth, personal growth and self- discovery. 5. The educational process is truly interactive with students acquiring knowledge and skills through experience and education. 6. The learning process cultivates interest, enthusiasm and curiosity, while inspiring creativity and desire for lifelong learning. 7. Students develop leadership skills and responsibility by taking an active role in the school community. 8. Students continuously grow in respect for themselves and others, and develop positive behaviors as citizens in a global community. 9. Outdoor education in integrated into all aspects of learning and character development to promote self-esteem and make learning meaningful and fun. 10.
